SR HR Generalist

4 Months+ Contracting

$45.00- $50.00/HR

Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM (Remote but must live on West Coast and work CA Hours)

  • Certified - PHR or SHRM completion is preferred but not required

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Own the day-to-day administration of employee benefits, compliance, immigration, and leaves of absence.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory updates and advise on and implement changes to our people processes as needed
  • Work with and within our HRIS, Paylocity, to manage leaves of absence, troubleshoot employee questions, configure or update system settings, and create reports as needed
  • Act as the go-to person for employee inquiries including but not limited to benefits, leaves, and safety for our employees. Refer complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Support our CA-based showroom manager with guidance on employee relations, compliance updates, and other needs as they arise.
  • Assist in tracking and administering employee leaves of absence in partnership with our leaves administrator, Newfront.
  • Assist in annual benefit open enrollment implementation, testing and administration.
  • Maintain knowledge of our policies as well as trends, best practices, and new technologies in human resources and employment law.
