A successful candidate will demonstrate ownership and be responsible for overseeing the regional operations with a sense of quality and customer service. This role will require travel, and work hours outside of normal business hours, depending on the needs within the regional area. The Regional Site Manager manages the operational resources while providing safe, efficient, and reliable transportation within the communities Beep serves, and coordinates closely with key business units on alignment to successfully support these operations. Beep also expects the Regional Site Manager to serve as a leader to drive process improvement by bringing industry best practices to the company in the form of a great safety culture and positive employee relations. This is a full-time position located in Orlando, FL. Duties and Responsibilities: Safety Responds to incidents and coordinates investigation and remediation activities for the region. Ensures direct reports are properly certified and trained, with qualifications remaining current, coordinating with safety/training staff. Prepares and regularly updates local operations SOPs, and policies. Conducts safety audits and observations and institutes continuous improvement plans. Establishes safety performance objectives, targets, and indicators in coordination with other operations staff members. Operations Oversees the daily workflow of field operations for the region and directs activities to meet the changing demands of customer mobility services. Establishes, implements, and communicates the safe and strategic direction of the organization’s field ops. In the event of staffing shortage or unanticipated gap in service, must be willing to fill in as Shuttle Attendant in location of need in the region. Supervises service operations including fleet planning, attendant schedules, uptime, and proper documentation and procedure control for the region. Assists with training as necessary, assuring all staff is well prepared for their role’s responsibilities. Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution for designated region. Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to Director of Field Operations Serve as a liaison between locations in the region and the Beep Command Center. Support L1 to L5 autonomous vehicle maintenance activities? Documenting maintenance procedures and service manuals Ensure Fleetio & JIRA tickets are effectively reported and addressed. Participate in Beep's change management and incident management procedures for preparation of planned and unplanned maintenance Ensure consistent implementation of inspection and maintenance procedures across all Beep service areas Partner with the Beep Command Center to diagnose and resolve issues with Beep’s fleet of autonomous vehicles Promptly respond to operational incidents or impacts, which may require reporting to a local site after standard business hours. People Interviews, hires, and trains service delivery team members for operations/technician roles in the region. Monitors and approves payroll reporting and timekeeping of Site Lead/Site Manager and Shuttle Attendant staff. Provides constructive and timely coaching and performance evaluations. Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided, in coordination with safety/training staff. Motivates and engages team members by focusing on team accomplishments and recognition. Manages disciplinary matters in accordance with Company policy, and in consultation with Director of Field Operations. Finance Ensures compliance with financial policies & procedures such as tracking hours of operation, ridership, etc. Closely manages team member working hours and activities to minimize overtime and meet or exceed productivity targets. Growth/Customer Experience Coordinates with Director of Field Operations and other support departments such as Human Resources, Finance, Customer Success, and the Beep Command Center to ensure successful and safe operations activities in the regional area. Builds and maintains positive working relationships with customers; addresses complaints and works to resolve them quickly and acting as the local point of contact for Beep in the regional area. Understands the location-specific customer goals & objectives and work to meet and exceed these expectations daily. Support local community and client events as requested. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with others. Knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to multi-task and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Extensive knowledge of operational procedures, and recordkeeping systems. Understanding of traffic rules, policies, and procedures, DOT, NHTSA, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Knowledge of Safety Management Systems and Safety Culture. Ability to work independently. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Communications, or other industry-related field preferred, or comparable job experience DOT or FTA experience desired Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, or walking.
