Quanterix is revolutionizing biomarker analysis to advance precision health, leveraging Simoa technology for ultra-sensitive protein detection. This transformative technology aims to enable earlier disease detection, better prognoses, and precise treatments, with the goal of significantly improving quality of life and longevity. ROLE SUMMARY:

Quanterix is looking for an innovative, hands-on lab enthusiast, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) experienced in building new technologies in a lab environment. This key role demands a leader adept at pioneering new developments to drive growth.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  1. Develop new technologies, being hands on in the lab.
  2. Inspire and motivate to achieve ambitious business goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  3. Develop technology roadmap and platforms synergistic to existing ultra-sensitive SIMOA technology.
  4. Represent the company at various technology meetings/conferences.
  5. Technical advisor on inorganic opportunities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. PhD in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Molecular Biology or Biomedical engineering.
  2. Experience developing concepts and building to commercial product.
  3. Life Science tools industry experience.
  4. Track record of innovative and impactful research.

EXPECTATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  1. Work from Billerica, MA, laboratories; 5 days a week.
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with dependencies to cross-functional teams.
  3. Ability to effectively interact and communicate with multidisciplinary scientists, both internally and externally; excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills essential.
  4. Ability to think beyond existing solutions.
  5. Professionally persistent; drive technology and enhancements.
  6. Ability to solve complex problems and analyze issues; take initiative to collaborate with others to do so.
  7. Resilient & versatile; ability to adapt to change.
  8. Lead with industry technology awareness; stay up to date with market standards, new technologies coming into the market, and competitive advantage.
