Position Title: Social Media & Content Curator

Location: Hybrid, Canyon Country LA Office 1-2 days per week

Reports to:  Agency Operations

We develop custom go to market plans, curated with our clients’ goals in mind.  Our span of expertise covers production, content curation, digital strategy, social media, influencer seeding, and brand partnerships.


Position Summary: The Social Media & Content Curator at Canyon Country LA (CCLA) is responsible for overseeing social media, Content, & influencer strategies.  They will also manage client relationships, and content creation efforts across multiple platforms. This role also includes coordinating influencer campaigns in collaboration with the Influencer Relations Lead, ensuring that all social media and influencer activities align with clients' goals and brand aesthetics.


Core Responsibilities:


1. Social Media Strategy & Management:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies for clients across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Manage digital ad spend to optimize ROI, regularly analyzing and adjusting campaigns based on performance metrics.
  • Oversee content scheduling and management, ensuring timely and consistent posting that aligns with clients’ brand identities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Agency Director ensure cohesive and strategic social media execution.


2. Content Creation & Copywriting:

  • Lead the creation of engaging and innovative content, particularly for TikTok, Instagram stories, reels, and grids.
  • Write compelling and brand-appropriate copy for social media posts, ads, and other digital content.
  • Ensure all content meets high standards of quality and resonates with the target audience.


3. Influencer Coordination:

  • Work closely with the Influencer Relations Lead to coordinate influencer campaigns, handling logistics, and addressing any potential queries.
  • Monitor and track influencer content, ensuring timely submissions and alignment with contract stipulations.
  • Catalog received influencer content, maintaining an organized and up-to-date content library.
  • Assist in drafting and finalizing influencer contracts, managing paperwork and administrative tasks related to influencer collaborations.


4. Analytics & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze social media and influencer campaign performance metrics, providing clients with detailed reports that highlight successes and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct monthly audience retention checks, using insights to refine and optimize content strategies.
  • Collate influencer performance metrics and assist in analyzing engagement data to inform future campaign improvements.


5. Client Liaison & Communication:

  • Engage with clients to understand their objectives and integrate their needs into actionable social media and influencer strategies.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, providing regular updates on social media performance and campaign progress.
  • Coordinate with clients for product send-outs related to influencer campaigns and manage the receipt process, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.


6. Team Collaboration & Supervision:

  • Foster a collaborative environment within the team, encouraging innovation and creative problem-solving.
  • Manage interns by assigning tasks, approving work, and providing feedback as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communication, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management.
  • Proven experience in content creation, particularly for TikTok and Instagram.
  • Hands-on experience with social media advertising and analytics tools.
  • Experience in influencer coordination and campaign management.
  • Strong copywriting skills and a deep understanding of social media trends.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
