Need Pastel is a cutting-edge creative and marketing agency with a focus on music festivals and brand amplification. Our work includes reshaping the social media landscape for live music, and now we're ready to bring on a talented Social Media Manager to oversee the accounts of multiple brands.
Position Summary:
We’re looking for a passionate Social Media Manager who’s experienced in creating engaging reels, humorous and shareable memes, and compelling social media content. This position will manage the social media presence for multiple accounts. Proficiency in Spanish is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute engaging content strategies tailored to the unique voice of each client.
- Must be comfortable with being client facing.
- Develop and implement a content calendar aligned with overall marketing goals.
- Collaborate with team members (e.g., graphic designers, content creators) to plan and execute engaging social media campaigns.
- Create + curate reels, memes, and visual content that resonates with a niche audience.
- Monitor and respond to followers' comments, questions, and messages in both English and Spanish.
- Stay current on social media trends, especially within pop culture and entertainment spaces.
- Collaborate with our team on social media stunts, amplification campaigns, and audience growth strategies.
- Analyze and report on key social media metrics to optimize strategies and reach.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, clicks, conversions) to assess the effectiveness of content and campaigns.
- Use insights to make data-driven adjustments to strategies, optimizing content based on performance trends.
- Manage posting schedules across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
Requirements:
- Must be based in Los Angeles, CA, and able to work in person.
- Proven track record for high engagement on accounts you’ve managed.
- Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for music, entertainment, or related industries.
- Must be able to film Instagram reels and Tiktoks with an iphone.
- Demonstrated ability to create and identify viral reels and memes that capture the essence of each brand.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends and algorithms.
- Excellent written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with the alternative and Latin music scenes.
- Prior experience working with festivals or live events.
