The RSM cultivates and manages strategic customer relationships with key end-user stakeholders, partners, and industry. This role is responsible for sales growth and market share opportunities with new and existing customers. This high visibility commercial role leverages key cross-functional partnerships with Zurn Elkay's commercial, marketing, finance, and operations teams to effectively drive business growth.Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets within the region to achieve annual sales growth goals.Build and manage an ambitious Siteworks sales funnel, leveraging CRM for account management, forecasting, and daily work.Accountable for the success and effectiveness of the sales rep teams' performance within the region. Delegate sales strategies and yearly targets, set up frequent review meetings and follow-ups to provide direction to rep network to effectively sell to the market channels and set the teams up for success.Cultivate and manage strategic customer relationships with key stakeholders-end-users, partners, and industry.Builds and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to sell the organization's products and/or services to increase revenue.Develop regional forecast and countermeasures to ensure sales goals are kept on track for execution.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of the competition.Reports on sales activities and creates sales quotations for customersProvide qualitative voice-of-customer (VOC) insights to Zurn Elkay organization regarding customer purchase cycles, Siteworks industry trends, and competitive positioning.Identify and communicate "80/20" continuous improvement opportunities that result in increased ease of doing business, improved customer satisfaction, and reduced operational costs for Zurn Elkay.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree preferred - preferably in Marketing, Business Management, or EngineeringOr 5+ years Territory and Key Account Management Experience or combination of educ & experienceExperience in the manufacturing, construction, HVAC, plumbing & mechanical, or similar industry required.Ability to lead an indirect sales team with influence and understanding that success through other people's performance is vital to the job.Knowledge of direct manufacturing sales, 2-step distribution (retail / wholesale), rep agencies, and their related materials purchasing pathways is essential.Experience managing and driving growth through Independent Representatives in commercial and industrial channelExcellent written and oral communication skillsTechnical acumen, with ability to understand technical drawings, and do take-offsProficient in developing and delivering presentations to Engineers, Owners, Regulators, Architects, Contractors, Wholesalers, DistributorsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).Familiarity with DCRM, or Sales Force, or similar sales tracking toolsTeam player, with demonstrated ability to leverage internal dotted line relationshipsAbility to travel up to 75% of the time within assigned territory.Must reside within the West region (preferably California)Total Rewards and BenefitsCompetitive SalaryMedical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, AD&D, and Life InsuranceMatching 401(k) ContributionHealth Savings AccountUp to 3 Weeks Vacation12 Paid HolidaysAnnual Bonus EligibilityEducational ReimbursementMatching Gift Program**THIRD PARTY AGENCY: Any unsolicited submissions received from recruitment agencies will be considered property of Zurn Elkay, and we will not be liable for any fees or obligations related to those submissions.**Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran
