MaintenX International is a fully licensed, general contracting and state certified roofing company with a focus on total facility maintenance and repair. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Production Mechanic to join our team. As a Commercial Roofing Production Mechanic, you will assist your Foreman, Crew, Project Coordinator and Project Manager in the completion of production projects for our commercial clients. The Commercial Roofing Production Mechanic updates assigned work orders with documentation (pictures, purchase orders, and completed work descriptions), manages truck organization (materials, cleanliness, and maintenance), manages job organization, oversees daily project needs (materials, labor, and logistics). At MaintenX, our customers rely on us to keep their business running, our Commercial Roofing Production Mechanic is an integral part of ensuring that we meet and exceed this expectation.

Job Responsibilities
Our Commercial Roofing Production Mechanic are responsible for assisting with the completion of roofing installations (re-roofs, roof replacements, and retrofits) and large scope repairs when appropriate as experience allows.

Additional responsibilities include:
Maintaining a professional personal appearance during all work order visits.
Maintaining assigned crew vehicle in a clean and organized manner and communicates tool maintenance/replacement needs in a timely manner.
Responsible for utilizing the company work order management system (XFactor) via mobile apps to maintain and manage assigned work orders.
Completing project installations according to Manufacturer standards, NRCA standards, and accepted industry practices.
Completing repairs within all OSHA and MaintenX safety standards.
Communicating to Project Manager any deviations from the established Guidelines or scope.
Updating of purchase orders in XFactor and providing costs to Project Coordinator/Project Manager team members.
Following customer procedures to ensure completion of work orders and billing completion.
Updating work orders for completion of projects including but not limited to notes and pictures.
Responsible for submitting time records via XFactor for yourself.
Responsible for notifying Project Manager or VP Operations regarding any disciplinary actions for crew members.
Responsible for investing in the continual training and development of team members
When necessary, additional duties may be assigned, and the company expects the Commercial Roofing Production Mechanic to exercise initiative to anticipate and prevent problems.

Job Requirements
Our Commercial Roofing Production Mechanics have vast knowledge and skills and go above and beyond in providing a high level of customer service to our customers.

Additional requirements of the Commercial Roofing Production Mechanic include:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Four to Five years of experience in low slope commercial roofing across all applications (BUR, MODIFIED, TPO, PVC, EPDM, METAL, COATINGS, and METAL FLASHINGS)
Three to four years of experience with steep slope systems across all applications (Asphalt Shingles, Tile, and Metal)
OSHA 10, 30, Aerial Lift, Fall Protection, and CERTA active certifications
Experience with using roofing specific tools and equipment; such as a handheld heat welder, open flame torch, Robotic Welder, Rhinobond Machine, Cutter, etc.
Must hold a valid and active Driver’s License
Own or obtain personal hand tools necessary for the trade.
Experience with large roofing manufacturers (Firestone, Carlisle, JM, GAF, Sika Sarnafil, etc)
Must be able to pass background and drug screen checks.
Two or more years of experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment requiring heavy telephone, and e-mail interaction.
Strong mobile computing skills via smart phone or tablet
Strong experience with mobile work order systems
Good communication skills both written and oral.
Able to communicate in Spanish fluently is a plus
Ability to work on-call and overtime hours as needed-we are a 24/7 maintenance facility
