What’s a typical day as a KYC/CDD Specialist? You’ll be:
• Conducting "know your customer" (KYC) and "customer due diligence" (CDD) research related to applicable trade compliance.
• Analyzing KYC/CDD results and identifying potential trade compliance red flags.
• Documenting results of KYC/CDD searches.
• Recommending go/no-go decisions or additional information required based on research results.
• Collaborating with the team and reporting to the Trade Compliance Manager.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have three years of experience in export compliance, sanctions compliance, KYC/CDD, and restricted party screening.
• Have open-source research experience.
• Are detail-oriented, organized, and able to make well-thought-through decisions promptly.
• Possess advanced Excel or Smartsheet skills.
• Have general computer skills.
• Are highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have solid English reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Can evaluate and make decisions based on incomplete data.

Preferred skills & experience:
• Strong trade technical knowledge of US export control and sanctions laws and regulations with analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience in consulting work.
• Fluency in Chinese or Russian language is a plus, as it can help in conducting research or communicating with international clients.
• Experience with the Sayari Graph tool.

Job Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in Trade Compliance, whether in a financial institution setting, consulting, or non-financial sector.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong trade technical knowledge of US export control and sanctions laws and regulations with analytical and organizational skills.
Shifts Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Shift Days: Monday-Friday
Pay: $35.00-$38.00 HR
