Eurofins is now the global market leader in environmental, food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics testing as well as in agro-sciences CRO (Contract Research Organization) services. Overall Objectives and Responsibilities Generate quotes for new clients and existing business Determine appropriate test prices per discussions with clients, peers, and BUMa as needed. Provide test information, and guidance on which tests to offer. Complete new client onboarding process from quoting through the client's first submission Provide input and feedback to Business Unit Managers on all sales and marketing related activities (additional testing needs / new service offerings / industry needs). For opportunities >$50K, work with Analytical Services Manager (ASM) or Business Development Director (BDD) if client is included in their target list for the current financial year. Follow through with all marketing leads within 24 hours and diligently follow up with potential clients on opportunities created and document opportunity progression in CRM. Be an effective team player, offering support to other team members in moving forward with leads / opportunities, actively share and accept opportunities from other team members where industry, geography, or prior customer relationship can help win business. Enter all opportunities, leads, and key activities into Eurofins’ Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system while following all CRM requirements. Develop a list of clients that ASMs or BDDs should target based on testing needs by industry. Manage lost client revenue for the laboratory: follow up on a quarterly basis, track sales activity and trends, warn if trends change, cross sell services, and ensure we exceed customer expectations. Effectively communicate amongst stakeholders on open items, next steps, due dates and who owns responsibilities to get tasks completed. Be involved in marketing campaigns, sales tools to develop, and contribute to marketing collateral on an ongoing basis. Be part of a team in creating a sales forecast plan for a testing category by lab and / or by account. Be able to lead complex discussions with BUMas, colleagues and clients at the same time. Maintain a positive frame of mind when presented with obstacles / challenges, both internally in the company and externally with clients. Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner Perform other duties as assigned The Inside Sales Manager is expected to have technical knowledge as well as knowledge of their designated industry in relation to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and analytical methods. In addition the Inside Sales Manager is expected to have strong customer service skill and experience. Bachelor’s degree with major in science-related field and at least 3 years’ experience or Master’s degree with at least 1 year of experience Basic understanding of ISO 17025 guidelines Experience in a laboratory environment preferred Customer service experience required Preferred experience or coursework in laboratory procedures, data analysis, computer operations, mathematics, and technical/business writing. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills.
