OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

The Dual State Manager is the head of the sales team at Grapevine Distributors. They embody the core values and beliefs of the company and are responsible for leading the team of sales professionals and Regional Sales Managers in achieving the budgeted sales goals as well as managing and developing talent across the team. They are the liaison between the marketing and operations teams and the HR and Accounting teams to ensure all aspects of the business are coordinated with the Sales Team.?

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, communicate, and execute the sales plan for Grapevine Distributors.
Coordinate with the Marketing Team to ensure cooperation and execution of all Sales Promotions, Supplier Visits, and focuses across Wine, Spirits, and Hemp
Maintain oversight of sample budgets
Hire, manage, and develop Regional Sales Managers
Hold Yearly Sales Retreats for the sales team
Holding Regional Sales Managers accountable via an accountability system
Making sure invoices are closed in a timely manner
Maintaining Culture and Morale for the sales team
Helping assist with order fulfillment when needed in conjunction?with the operations team
Setting sales budgets for all Regions?
Conduct Bi-annual reviews of Regional Sales Managers.
Stay abreast of all trends and potential challenges inside and?outside?of the company.
Visit all markets in North and South Carolina during the year to be familiar with current market trends in each market.
Manage the Grapevine Sales Team using the Entrepreneurs Organizational System.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Must have at least two years of management experience (Outside Sales)
Spirits knowledge and sales experience preferred.
Resident of North or South Carolina (Charlotte or Charleston Preferred)
Be at least 21 years old with a valid SC driver's license and insurance
Proven customer service skills
Excellent writing skills
Driven to exceed all sales goals
Able to work with little supervision

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical demands to include driving, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, standing, and squatting
May require lifting, lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45lbs

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

Reliable transportation, laptop computer, cell phone

COMPENSATION

Base plus monthly bonus package
