Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Lead Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team in support of our work with a federal client at various locations in Arizona, California, and Texas. br>
This is a Lead Behavioral Counselor position supporting unaccompanied minors. In this role, you will primarily supervise a dedicated team of clinical counselors, who are focused on helping unaccompanied minors work through the problems they have faced. You will also work with the minors to identify opportunities for progress, help them build healthier coping mechanisms, and develop strategies that they can use to improve their lives.Master’s degree in social work, plus 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in counseling, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience, plus 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience
Must have supervisory experience and be licensed to provide Mental Health services.
Typical licenses include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LMHC, Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), Psychiatrist (MD or DO). Clinicians under supervision may not apply
Must successfully pass all pertinent and required background checks, drug screens, and child abuse and neglect checks
Bilingual highly preferred – primarily Spanish
Excellent interpersonal skills and high standards of professionalism and confidentiality
Working knowledge of military, state, federal, and local laws, and resources
Ability to understand, apply and maintain professional standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Highly developed written, oral and presentation communication skills
