Job Description:

SUMMARY

Provides leadership in administering, implementing, and supportingvendor-delivered applications and services that are essential for achieving themission and goals of the College. Consults and partners with externalstakeholders to ensure that College-wide applications securely meetinstitutional needs. Serves as a trusted advisor to all College departments inan effort to identify opportunities to further operational effectiveness andstudent success and completion.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

  • Provides oversight and leadership for vendor-delivered applications and services
  • Provides supervisory leadership for all ITS Systems Administrators and ERP Solutions Specialists
  • Provides supervisory tasks for staff supporting end-to-end delivery
  • Provides hands-on assistance with day-to-day operational support and project-based activities
  • Leads process re-engineering initiatives in partnership with College departments to improve operational effectiveness and support student success and completion
  • Assists in day-to-day production issues, acts as an escalation point to resolve urgent and/or complex stakeholder issues, and manages stakeholder expectations
  • Anticipates and meets all customer needs accurately, professionally, and with a commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Understands the overall services delivery model and builds effective working relationships with others both within and outside of Tri-C
  • Demonstrates the ability to build strong relationships with key College stakeholders, vendors, and ITS Leadership
  • Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of seven years of demonstrated experience working with a client-driven, process improvement-oriented information systems team
  • Demonstrated experience supervising, planning, assigning, scheduling and ensuring the quality of the work of others
  • Demonstrated experience effectively making decisions that have major implications on the management and operations within a department
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in a role requiring dynamic and abstract problem solving methods in adaptive situations
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS and ABILITIES
  • Possesses working knowledge of IT best practices concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to use in varied situations as it pertains to the departmental focus
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of vendor-delivered application support and enhancement

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of ten years of demonstrated experience working with a client-driven, process improvement-oriented information systems team

  • Possesses basic understanding of project financial management (i.e., budgets, forecasting)
  • Demonstrated basic Banner ERP skills (or related program)

  • The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment;
