Job Overview:

SUMMARY

The Head of Enterprise Application Services provides strategic leadership in the administration, implementation, and support of vendor-provided applications and services that are critical to fulfilling the mission and objectives of the organization. This role involves collaboration with external stakeholders to ensure that institution-wide applications effectively meet organizational requirements. The individual serves as a trusted consultant to all departments, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and promote student success and completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and lead vendor-supported applications and services.
  • Supervise all Systems Administrators and ERP Solutions Specialists within the IT Services department.
  • Manage staff responsible for comprehensive service delivery.
  • Provide hands-on support for daily operations and project-related tasks.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives in collaboration with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and support student achievement.
  • Address daily production challenges, acting as a point of escalation for urgent or complex issues, while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Proactively identify and meet customer needs with professionalism and a commitment to satisfaction.
  • Understand the overall service delivery model and cultivate effective relationships within and outside the organization.
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, vendors, and IT leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in a client-focused, process improvement-driven information systems environment.
  • Proven experience in supervising, planning, assigning, and ensuring quality work of team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to make impactful decisions affecting departmental management and operations.
  • Experience in dynamic problem-solving in adaptive situations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

WORKING CONDITIONS

The role is performed in a standard office environment, adequately lit and ventilated. The employee may sit comfortably to perform job duties, with occasional walking, standing, and carrying light items such as papers and files. The position may also require travel for meetings and conferences.
