SKF Automotive Bearing Business Unit is looking for a 'Senior Account Manager'. This is a sales position that requires excellent communication skills and a clear business and profit-oriented focus. Candidates will need to balance their efforts between servicing current business and developing new opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate to plan and implement technical sales activities to achieve and exceed defined targets and support the Product Lines strategies.
  • Visit customers to understand their development needs, strengthen customer relations across the organization and to develop new business.
  • Take on total customer account management, including sales forecast, supply planning, delivery, order handling and payment to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Participate in projects review in collaboration with the local Application Engineering, Project Management, and Factory teams
  • Manage OEMs and Tier 1 Commercial Vehicle accounts.
  • Negotiating customer contracts and supporting application engineering.
  • Building and defining bearing and seal quotations for new business opportunities.
  • Contributing to marketing activities, including monthly forecasting and process mapping.
  • Participating in project review teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering degree required.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in account management.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural and international team.
  • Results-driven, self-starter with a proven record of accomplishment.
  • Demonstrated achievement in past commercial or technical roles.
  • Heavy Truck / Trailer business aptitude.
  • 25% travel is required.
