Overview Executive Director, Residential Operations and Business Development Georgetown University comprises two unique campuses in the nation’s capital. Responsibilities Provides vision, leadership, and management for all residential operations Oversees $54M in housing revenue and budget planning Coordinates capital planning and deferred maintenance for residential facilities Leads strategic partnerships and summer conference operations Directly supervises two Directors and provides leadership to a team of 8 staff Ensures compliance with ADA, Title IX, Fair Housing, and equity standards Leads crisis response and serves on the Campus Emergency Response Team Work Interactions This position reports to the Assistant Vice President for Facilities Operations and supervises a team that includes a Director of Business Development & Summer Housing, a Director of Housing Operations, as well as the Associate Director of Housing, Downtown Campus. The Executive Director works closely with departments such as Student Affairs, University Counsel, Academic Resource Center, GUPD, Office of Global Education, and UIS. This role represents Residential Services on major university committees and collaborates to shape policies and environments that support the university's mission and student development. Requirements and Qualifications Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience and training 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in university housing operations Strong leadership, financial management, and occupancy management skills Experience with housing assignment systems (e.g., StarRez) Excellent communication, planning, and crisis management skills Knowledge of ADA, Title IX, and Fair Housing regulations Preferred Qualifications Experience in residential master planning, renovation, and construction Familiarity with Jesuit, Catholic institutional values and student formation Strong background in assessment and data-driven decision-making Understanding of student learning and development theory Work Mode Designation This position has been designated as On-Campus. Pay Range The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $80,429.00 - $157,238.93 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
