Front Office Coordinator

We are looking for an energetic, organized, administrative person who is also interested in the *Human Resources *field. This position is the entry point to learning and progressing as an HR professional with Express. In addition to office administration duties, you will be assisting with the recruiting, onboarding, and care of our associates. You will impact lives and build relationships by helping people find work.

Express Employment Professionals is the 4th largest staffing firm in the US. Our local office provides fantastic service to the Montgomery County area. Our goal is to help as many people as possible find good jobs by helping as many clients as possible find good people.
*Pay: *$19 to $20 an hour
*Schedule: *M-F 8am-5pm, 1 hour lunch
*Job Responsibilities*
* As the first contact in the office, create a positive first impression for all in-person, telephone, and electronic inquiries
* Determine callers’ needs and answer their questions, resolve issues, or route calls as necessary
* Document inquiry calls and enter data from employment applications into an automated system
* Manage applicant flow and assist with recruiting efforts
* Review applicants for possible fit with open job orders and coordinate setting up interviews with recruitment team
* Lead applicants through the onboarding process, including taking responsibility for ensuring all documentation is completed thoroughly and per legal requirements
* Administer skills evaluations and review for completion, providing instruction and encouragement
* Make employment verification calls
* Assist with sales efforts, including helping clients and prospects identify areas of need
* Type correspondence, prepare mailings, and update mailing lists
* Assist with collecting timecards and processing payroll when needed
* Maintain confidentiality of all processed documents
* Handle other office administration tasks on an as-needed basis
* Willing to learn payroll process
*Requirements*
* An interest in human resources as a career and a desire to develop professionally in this area
* Administrative or other relevant experience in an office environment, including managing a multi-line phone system
* High school diploma or GED required; college degree or working toward a relevant degree a plus
* Professional phone etiquette with clear speaking voice
* Must enjoy speaking to and helping people
* Must be a problem solver, taking initiative to get things done
* Able to function in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
* Excellent and professional written communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Outlook, Word, and basic Excel skills
* COVID Vaccinated and willing to undergo background check
