As a member of the Security Team, this position will assist with the day-to-day managerial duties and efforts of the Security department ensuring regulations, directives, policies, and procedures are followed in a timely and effective manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Work opposite hours of the Director of Security to ensure appropriate coverage by the primary Managers is identified and scheduled, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Embodies a hands-on approach with day-to-day operations of the Security Department, on the floor and events. Oversee a team of 40-50 Security Officers and Supervisors. Assist with the oversight and enforcement of all Broadmoor regulations, policies, and procedures. Create, conduct, and log routine emergency drills. Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal) with Guests, Employees, and Department Managers. Assist in overseeing the investigation of personal injury, accidents, and incidents involving Guests. Partner with Human Resources, as needed, for Employee investigations. Must be able to interview and collect information for complete, accurate, and timely reports. Assist Director of Security with managing internal schedules, drills, and other necessary compliance programs. Maintain daily activity logs. Serve as a Direct Report for Security Supervisors. Recognize and report hazards pertaining to personal physical liability, fire safety, and asset protection. Monitor key access to sensitive areas and review sign-out logs. Provide a staff presence at walkthroughs, pre-cons, and/or special meetings. Assist with overseeing the Wilderness Security training program and maintain standards of performance. Perform tasks relating to Fire Life Safety Systems, lost and found investigations, safety deposit box control, and H.T. operations (2-way radios). Accept any and all additional duties as assigned. Maintain cleanliness of all equipment and spaces. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. CPR Certified and have basic knowledge of first aid care or able/willing to become certified upon hire. Previous experience providing exceptional customer service. Occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 50 pounds and will be working in conditions that are both inside and outside.
