Job Description:

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for servicing Feature Film and promotional materials to a select group of Worldwide Electronic-Sell Through, Video-On-Demand, and Premium Video-On-Demand clients who license products from the Client. This position will be responsible for setting up delivery in a timely fashion and in accordance with contractual terms.


Responsibilities:

  • Aggregate and organize information from various internal/external sources to ensure all assets are ordered and tracked in a timely matter for EST/VOD release.
  • Work with multiple internal groups and outside facilities to ensure all necessary materials are created and delivered per established workflows.
  • Quickly investigate and resolve material rejections. Keep clients informed throughout and communicate with other teams as needed to mitigate the impact on other clients.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Product Management groups, and Artwork/Metadata team to deliver high volumes of digital content for launches and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain reports of all products licensed, delivery requirements, and status of servicing. Update purchase orders and inventory systems with relevant delivery and invoice information.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding content or deliveries.
  • Assist in metadata and art delivery when needed.
  • Utilize Client portals to track materials and problem-solving.
  • React quickly to resolve short-term issues without losing track of longer-term tasks; prioritize requests, self-direct, and maintain focus under strict deadline pressure and concurrent priorities.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by management.


Desired Characteristics:

  • Positive work ethic with high degree of integrity and professionalism
  • Familiarity with digital content as distributed via New Media, such as online sales/rentals, game consoles, subscription services, etc.
  • Advanced Knowledge with Excel, including Macros. (VBA), Databases, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and other Advanced Formulas.
  • Prior experience in Film/TV Distribution or Operations
  • Knowledge of videotape, digital encoding formats and electronic delivery methods
  • Understanding of component-based workflows
  • Project management skills – able to collect project requirements from stakeholders, author a plan of action with goals and timelines, delegate tasks efficiently with concise instructions, and follow through completion without missing deadlines.
  • Must work effectively under own initiative and strict deadlines
  • Critical thinker capable of processing and applying new complex information
  • Superior ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external clients/customers
  • Detail oriented problem solver capable of identifying the problem, thinking of and implementing a solution
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, changing priorities, and processing systems
