About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner at IVX Health, you'll be at the forefront of delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients. With your expertise in infusion therapy, you'll oversee patient care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and providers. You'll ensure every treatment is delivered with precision and care, making a real difference in patients' lives.
What You'll Do
- Provide onsite supervision for all patients during their visits.
- Perform patient assessments, document health status, and complete SOAP notes.
- Administer infusions and injections according to prescribed protocols.
- Calculate medication dosages (e.g., mg/kg) and ensure proper administration.
- Collaborate with referring providers for prior authorizations and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record.
- Educate patients and families about disease processes and potential treatment side effects.
- Keep clinical spaces clean and stocked with necessary medical supplies.
- Support audits, regulatory requirements, and staff review processes.
- Review and ensure accurate charge capture for patient encounters.
- Communicate openly with referring providers to coordinate care.
- Occasionally assist with pre-registration, prior authorization, or related services.
- Travel to multiple facilities within your designated market as needed.

Qualifications
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
- Excellent IV skills (Infusion Therapy experience a plus)
- Strong mathematical skills for medication dosage calculations
- Demonstrates a commitment to improving the quality of patient care
- Exceptional active listening skills
- Committed to providing high quality, evidence-based patient care

- Ability to integrate clinical judgment skills into decision-making

- Ability to demonstrate workstyle flexibility and teamwork
- Sound understanding of all federal and state regulations including HIPAA and OSHA
- Experience and strong familiarity utilizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge and proficiency with standard office software applications including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to treat a wide range of patients across the lifespan, including both adults and pediatrics
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
- Board certified by AANP or ANCC
- Succesful completion of Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing program
- BLS Provider certification, credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- PALS Provider certification, strongly preferred, credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Experience in an infusion setting preferred
