About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner - Skin Health to join our dynamic team at Duke University. As a key member of our dermatology department, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care and contribute to the growth and success of our practice.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the dermatology ambulatory clinic setting, with a focus on skin health and prevention. This includes assessing patient needs, developing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on skin health, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions and outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure excellent patient experience.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Master's Degree in Nursing or Doctoral degree program.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in dermatology or a related field.
  • Current NP licensure in North Carolina.
  • BLS certification.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as generous paid time off and retirement savings plan.
