We are seeking a General Manager, Subscription Business to grow and manage Carings subscriber base. This individual will have P&L responsibility and accountability for all aspects of this high-growth business unit including overall strategy, sales, pricing, analytics, customer support and account management, financial tracking, and (working closely with cross-functional teams) product development and marketing initiatives. The GM of Subscriptions will lead discussions around the subscription business with Carings executive leadership team and board of directors.

**As a General Manager, Subscription Business at Caring, you will:**

* Develop and execute on detailed go-to-market plans to grow our subscription business within the senior care industry focused on skilled nursing facilities, home health, active adult apartments, and continuing care retirement communities

* Manage the core functions of the business including sales, account management, customer support, marketing, and product development

* Hire, develop and lead a high-performing team

* Grow the subscription book of business through new acquisition and churn mitigation

* Lead the B2B sales team to acquire new senior care subscription partners

* Conduct on-going business development activities on large, corporate partners and property management companies

* Garner buy-in from executive leadership to execution-level cross-functional team members

* Truly understand the industry and Carings strategy to build a scalable subscription business

* Partner with the product team to improve Carings product and value proposition to customers (senior care providers)

* Work alongside the marketing team to develop and execute an effective B2B marketing strategy

* Develop robust analytical models to measure effectiveness of pricing, sales, marketing, and product strategies

* Present regular updates to Carings executive leadership team and board

**Our Ideal General Manager, Subscription Business will have:**

* Bachelors degree required; MBA a plus

* Minimum 6+ years of professional work experience

* Prior experience in general management functions or successful entrepreneurial experience

* High proficiency with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SQL, Looker, and/or other reporting tools a plus

* Experience developing and managing a high-functioning team

* Excellent communication and presentation skills to all levels of audiences including executive leadership team and the board of directors

* Strong analytical skills

* Experience developing reporting around KPIs required to effectively drive initiatives forward

* Hands-on experience constructing and managing to a financial P&L

* Highly self-motived with the ability to work autonomously to drive initiatives forward

* Comfort working to solve ambiguous problems with uncharted solutions; willing to learn from failures

* Comfort operating in a highly analytic and metrics driven environment

* Strong attention to details with high integrity

* Ability to work across the organization; connecting teams across the organization to accomplish goals and objectives

* Ability to work autonomously in an entrepreneurial environment

* Been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 by the time you start this role
