As a member of the team ensuring that everyone in IT has a positive working experience, the release coordinator will serve as the glue connecting many IT teams together to ensure that everyone can successfully & easily deliver solutions to their users. The coordination will take the form of communications about ongoing and upcoming releases as well as following up on issues that result from deployments. The coordinator will work closely with all teams in IT to ensure there is clarity for all stakeholders about whose involved and what needs to be done.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Participate in suggesting and facilitating process improvements relating to application deployments
  • Ensure that all stakeholders in IT are aware of the upcoming release schedule & their role within it
  • Ensure teams are following the consistent standard deployment process
  • Participate in deployments by triggering the release process
  • Monitoring & coordinating efforts during releases
  • Other duties as required or assigned by leader
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, as well as outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in high stress situations with a calm demeanor
  • Technical experience configuring, debugging or developing software solutions
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects successfully
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to any given situation
  • Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
