Business Developers are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients as well as future clients. The role of the BDM (Business Development Manager) may include;



Identify and research potential clients
Develop and maintain client relationships within existing clientele.
Coordinate with management to develop mutually beneficial proposals
Negotiate contract terms with clients and future clients to the beneficial outcome of both parties.
Gather useful information from existing and potential customers including competitor data
Make and give presentations to prospective and existing clients as needed.
Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
Track and report on the status of proposal components
Conduct ongoing market research
Work with the management team on pricing strategies to create rate proposals
Drive the end-to-end sales process
Prepare and submit sales contracts
