Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to daily outreach and relationship management.About our firmSentry Hill Financial Advisors is a Boston-based advisory firm within the Northwestern Mutual Private Client Group, serving business professionals, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals across the United States.We provide comprehensive, tailored financial planning and wealth management strategies that address complex needs around investing, tax efficiency, and multi-generational wealth protection.Our firm values integrity, precision, and collaboration, and our team of advisors and specialists works closely to ensure every client receives personalized, high-quality service.ResponsibilitiesConduct proactive outreach to prospective clients via phone and email to generate new meetings.Maintain and manage a clean, up-to-date call and contact list.Assist advisors with scheduling and follow-up for prospective client meetings.Ensure timely, professional, and clear communication at every touchpoint.Demonstrate familiarity with financial planning concepts and target markets.Build and maintain feeder lists targeting specific companies and executives.Research and input new prospect data accurately into the firm’s CRM system.Collaborate with advisors to develop and execute business development strategies.Organize and manage ad hoc projects to streamline prospect outreach and marketing initiatives.Track outreach metrics and assist in refining business development processes.Qualifications1–2+ years of sales or business development experience.Ability to manage and maintain a high volume of outreach per day.FINRA SIE, Series 7, 63, and 65 and/or 66 licenses preferred but not required for hire.Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licenses preferred but not required for hire.Knowledge or experience with financial planning and wealth management preferred.Growth PathThis position offers significant professional growth within a leading private client advisory practice. The Business Development Manager will gain hands‑on experience in client acquisition, business strategy, and financial planning.
