AWS is seeking an experienced Business Developer to help us establish AWS as the market leader for AI‑driven Decision Intelligence capabilities, beginning with Supply Chain and expanding into adjacent domains. This strategic initiative represents one of AWS’s key investments in applied AI for enterprise transformation. With a robust and ever‑growing product roadmap, the Business Developer must combine enterprise sales experience with strong understanding of AI/ML applications in business contexts. The ideal candidate should be capable of engaging at the C‑suite level to drive strategic transformation initiatives while also collaborating with technical stakeholders to ensure successful implementation. You will lead strategic customer advisory relationships, develop and execute account strategies for Fortune 500 companies, and help shape our product roadmap based on customer feedback. This role requires excellence in executive communication, strong understanding of enterprise decision‑making processes, and proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments. Internally, you’ll be the voice of the customer working directly with AWS product teams, while also leading the creation of thought leadership content that defines how AWS communicates its technology to customers. Your influence will extend to company‑wide impact, driving transformative solutions at scale. Key job responsibilities Develop and implement strategic go‑to‑market approaches, targeting specific domains and customer segments Engage with executive leadership to understand complex business challenges and propose innovative cloud solutions Serve as the primary business specialist for customer services within your assigned territory Craft compelling value propositions that directly address customer needs and demonstrate AWS’s unique capabilities Collaborate with global system integrators to deliver transformative customer projects Basic Qualifications 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience Bachelor’s degree Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level Experience meeting revenue targets and quotas 10+ years of technology sales experience Preferred Qualifications Experience creating and implementing long‑term transformational account strategies in a customer‑facing role or equivalent Experience building profitable partner ecosystems Experience defining roadmap strategy and prioritizing deliverables for your team products Experience designing and launching new products from the ground up Experience selling AI/ML or emerging technology solutions Background in supply chain, operations, or enterprise planning software Multilingual capabilities, particularly Spanish or Portuguese Amazon is an equal‑opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
