Business Development Representative

Description of the role: The Business Development Representative - Service at Thompson Buick GMC Cadillac plays a crucial role in the growth and success of our dealership. This position is responsible for generating new business by proactively reaching out to potential customers and promoting our exceptional service offerings. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a strong sales/service aptitude and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: * Identify and reach out to potential customers to generate new service business * Promote and educate customers about our service offerings and benefits * Assist customers in scheduling service appointments * Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns * Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales/service activities in the CRM/DMS * Collaborate with the service team to provide exceptional customer service * Attend training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills * Achieve and exceed monthly sales/service targets Requirements: * Prior experience in sales or customer service is preferred * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficient in using CRM/DMS software and other relevant tools * Highly motivated and target-oriented * Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Benefits: * Competitive hourly compensation of $15.00 per hour plus commission * Opportunity for growth and advancement * Comprehensive training and development programs * Health and dental insurance * 401(k) retirement savings plan * Paid time off and holidays * Employee discounts on vehicle purchases, parts, and service * Saturday breakfast * Closed Sundays About the Company: Thompson Buick GMC Cadillac is a premier dealership located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
