Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather technical information and simplify complex details into accessible content.
  • Create and maintain guides, specifications, best practices, and support documentation.
  • Ensure content accuracy and usability by conducting research and lab testing.
  • Develop and uphold templates, style guides, and content standards.
  • Edit content for grammar, style, and formatting consistency.
  • Utilize WYSIWYG editors, XML Authoring (DITA), and ServiceNow to manage content.
  • Oversee multiple projects, managing deadlines, and collaborating effectively with the team.
  • Create structured content and maintain version control within a DITA environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within DITA.
  • Provide training on DITA best practices and tools.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to align documentation with training initiatives.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in writing, content creation, or communication.
Experience:
  • Technical writing experience.
  • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with document formatting tools such as WYSIWYG, HTML, and DITA.
  • Experience in DITA environments and XML authoring tools.
  • Strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of networking/data storage.
  • Background in Knowledge-Centered Services (KCS).
