Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a CNC Specialist. The CNC Specialist is responsible for safely maintaining, setting, and adjusting the machines to ensure systems run smoothly and a quality product is produced.Below are additional duties and responsibilities:Set-up and run CNC Mills or High-Speed machines, graphite or hard-cutting spindle tools or CMM machines.Able to understand and perform to quality standards, methods, usage of inspection devices and reporting as required.Read engineering drawings and use necessary measuring devices to produce or modify existing tooling, new tools or old tools.Repair or request replacement parts, tooling or hardware as needed in order to maintain inventory of tooling.Coordinate with specialty machining areas for specific operations or needs.Possibly work with or train apprentices; offer aid to their progression.Able to work in a 3D environment.Able to multitask on all CNC machinery.G-code format a +.Completion of mold bases, components and, at times, core and cavities.Run off-line programs.Any other duties as assigned.As a global provider of healthcare manufacturing solutions, MGS provides the right balance to drive vital innovations: robust end-to-end solutions combined with the strong customer focus and seamless collaboration of an agile partner. To learn more about MGS, please visit www.mgsmfg.com.Experience and SkillsA qualified CNC Specialist candidate would fulfill these requirements:Completion of a state indentured tool and die apprenticeship, CNC apprenticeship with journeymen card, or equivalent.Two years of applicable experience, or accrued on-the-job training and experience.
