Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Fabricator to join our team at Argus Technical Services. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for coordinating team resources, ensuring efficient use of labor and equipment, and troubleshooting day-to-day challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate team resources to complete daily production schedules, setting priorities and sequencing to optimize labor and equipment utilization.
  • Communicate effectively with the manufacturing leadership team to ensure smooth workflow and address any production issues or machine downtime.
  • Collaborate with the 1st shift team to maintain a smooth workflow and make adjustments/recommendations to crewing as required.
  • Safely operate metal fabrication equipment, including drill press, CNC punch press, press brake, CNC turret punch, and shear.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in machine set-up/programming in a metal fabrication or relevant manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using measurement tools, with strong solid math skills.
  • High attention to detail, supporting Quality, Safety, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working within a team-based environment and excellent communication skills.
