Position Overview for the Security Engineer:Manage and administer security applications
Analyze and design security solutions for threats and vulnerabilities
Provide recommendations for security tools and process improvements
Responsible for implementing and maintaining new and existing security technologies
Utilize security tools such as Splunk, Barracuda, and/or Palo Alto firewalls
Conduct assessments of operating systems and network components to identify potential security threats


Required Experience for the Security Engineer:3+ years of IT Security experience
Extensive experience in Threat Analysis
Hands on experience with tools such as Symantec, Splunk, Palo Alto Firewalls, Barracuda, Mindcast, Tripwire, etc.
Experience working with Windows operating systems
Hands on experience supporting routers and switches
Hands on experience with Active Directory
Understanding of network design and network components
Certifications in networking and/or security desired
