Job Responsibilities:

The Sustainability Representative will serve as an integral member of the Environmental, Health & Safety team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Collaborate with Senecas parent company to design, draft, prepare, and review Corporate Responsibility Reports, Climate Reports, etc.
  • Work with subject matter experts to facilitate the preparation of SASB disclosures and review them to ensure completeness and accuracy of reported data
  • Manage and maintain third-party differentiated gas certifications
  • Identify and monitor voluntary sustainability initiatives and make recommendations for participation
  • Perform ESG and air quality peer benchmarking analyses and implement recommendations for improvement
  • Obtain and maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local environmental regulations as they apply to Seneca Resources operations
  • Participate in industry and other organizations in analyzing new regulations and interpretations
  • Develop plans for compliance and communicate to interested parties impacts and requirements of new regulations
  • Assist with the preparation of greenhouse gas reporting
  • Ensure regulatory filings are planned for, completed in a timely manner, and accurate
  • Lead the annual operational assessment program, including topic selection, identification of qualified vendors, and management of the project
  • Comply with Senecas EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs
Job Qualifications:
  • Possess at least a Bachelors degree with an emphasis in accounting, auditing, data science, engineering, or similar fields is preferred but not required
  • Five years professional experience preferred
  • Experience working in the energy industry and/or in an ESG or environmental focused role is strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think critically
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective time management and project management skills
  • Ability to travel on a periodic basis

The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America.

Seneca Resources offers a competitive salary, hybrid work schedule and a comprehensive benefits package. This position is not eligible for relocation.
