Role Overview:

The Chief Marketing/Sales Officer will be responsible for developing and executing CarPal’s marketing and sales strategy to drive business growth and increase our market share, particularly in the United States and key global markets. This individual will lead a team of marketing and sales professionals, collaborate closely with other departments, and report directly to the CEO. The CMO/CSO will play a crucial role in scaling our business and ensuring CarPal’s continued success and leadership in the automotive and aftersales industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and sales strategies that align with CarPal's business objectives.
  • Drive CarPal’s market penetration in the US while supporting global expansion initiatives.
  • Define KPIs to track success and optimize performance in marketing and sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set strategic goals and ensure alignment across the organization.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify new business opportunities and target markets, particularly in the US and globally.
  • Lead market research efforts to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.

Sales Growth:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and investors.
  • Oversee the development of sales strategies, pricing models, and sales processes that drive revenue growth.

Brand Development & Management:

  • Build and strengthen CarPal's brand presence in the market, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning.
  • Develop and oversee digital marketing strategies, including social media, content marketing, and SEO/SEM.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize strategies.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing marketing and sales team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the team.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure professional growth and development.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with automotive companies, repair shops, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Develop joint marketing and sales initiatives with partners to drive mutual growth.
Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing and sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and market penetration, particularly in the US.
  • Experience in the automotive industry and aftersales market is a significant plus.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand development, and customer acquisition.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and make informed decisions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
