Modern Supply is one of those trade names and is looking for HVAC Inside Sales & Tech Support at their Chattanooga, TN location .


Pay for HVAC Inside Sales & Tech Support is between $19.23 and $30.00 per hour at this location.

If so, then Hajoca Corporation - Modern Supply Company, would like you to join our dedicated team as an HVAC Inside Sales & Technical Support Specialist. Our team has been serving the local community for many years. We are a close-knit team that works together to provide the best service to both new and existing customers. We have a high-energy, fast-paced, enthusiastic and fun working climate.


Inside Salespeople provide sales and support to walk-in customers at the sales counter and assistance to outside sales staff in the field. HVAC Technical Support Specialists assist customers with design questions and diagnosing technical issues in the field as needed. The HVAC Inside Sales & Technical Support Specialist duties will include, but are not limited to:


Assisting customers who purchase and/or pick up merchandise at our location
Process Sales Orders generated at the counter
Provide customers with reliable information regarding product specifications and pricing
Assisting team members in servicing customers, answering phone calls, stocking merchandise and pulling orders for delivery
Assist HVAC customers with system design and installation procedures
Help HVAC customers with technical questions, and with diagnosing HVAC system problems and issues


All interested applicants must possess:

High school degree or equivalent
5 years minimum experience as an HVAC service technician
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Ability to identify customer needs, provide profitable solutions, and close the sale
The ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
The ability to troubleshoot and HVAC system through a series of questions from a phone conversation
Be able to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs. As a non-CDL driver, you must: Be at least 21 years old
Possess a proper and valid driver’s license
Have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy.
Be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before beginning work and again at least every two years while employed and performing this job function.



Our ideal candidate will also:


Have, or quickly develop, a comprehensive knowledge of products
Basic computer literacy (use of mouse and keyboard, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Office)
Be a fast learner on computer skills - must learn our sales processing & inventory management software quickly and efficiently
Possess the drive to assist team members with other tasks as required - MUST BE A SELF STARTER
Have served in an HVAC company for more than 10 years
Be excellent, effective, and efficient with diagnosing an HVAC system
Have participated in several HVAC factory training classes
Be willing to do some traveling to acquire factory certifications required to serve in the role of Technical Support Specialist
Be willing to participate in HVAC continuing education courses on an annual basis
Be willing to teach HVAC technical classes in front of a large group
Be willing to visit job sites if necessary to diagnose and remedy problematic HVAC systems
