Position Summary:
We are seeking an Outside Salesperson to represent our company and enhance our market presence. This role involves engaging with clients to assess their needs, establish strong relationships, and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Outside Salesperson, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Visiting client locations to evaluate their requirements and identify sales opportunities.
- Processing sales orders, bids, and job information packages.
- Identifying and prospecting new clients, while collaborating with management for screening.
- Facilitating payment processes with clients and management.
- Participating in industry meetings and conventions to stay informed about new products and market trends.
- Meeting or exceeding sales targets set by management.
Qualifications:
All interested candidates must possess:
- Experience in HVAC.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven outside sales experience.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of products and services offered.
- The ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to drive a vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
Additional Requirements:
As a non-CDL driver, candidates must:
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Pass a Department of Transportation physical examination.
Preferred Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will also have:
- Experience in contractor sales or with an HVAC company.
- Wholesale distribution experience (preferred but not required).
- A willingness to assist team members with various tasks.
