Job Summary

Homeland has partnered with a leading industrial distributor, and they are looking for an Inside Sales Representative at their Chattanooga, TN location. In this role, you'll provide excellent account management and customer service to both existing and new customers in the industrial printing, marking, and coding field. You will focus on representing their line of marking and coding equipment for manufacturing and packaging industries as well as seek opportunities to explore new markets.

Your tasks will include entering orders into our database, updating spreadsheets, processing purchase orders, and managing other administrative duties. Effective communication skills and a goal-oriented attitude are important. In the end, you'll contribute to growing the customer base and enhancing our market reputation.


Responsibilities

  • Handle customer sales calls, fulfill requests for quotes, and process purchase and sales orders
  • Maintain knowledge of the product lines available through our company
  • Collaborate with salespeople and other internal teams to achieve individual and group sales quotas
  • Answer customer questions about features, pricing, and additional services
  • Track and manage leads and opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to closing
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any post-sale issues
  • Manage inventory levels and monitor customer consumables to ensure efficient and timely deliveries
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting tips to customers
  • Log and process service tickets for onsite technical support
  • Collaborate effectively with the team
  • Maintain consistent and timely attendance


Requirements

  • 1-3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in industrial printing, marking, and coding technologies
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency with computer use, including Outlook, Microsoft Office products (especially Excel)
  • Experience with ERP and CRM software (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage and navigate large amounts of data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous knowledge of manufacturing and packaging processes is recommended
