The Fossa Production position will have cross training opportunities in wax fossa design, mesh forming, scanning, bonding and other fossa manufacturing processes. Order of areas trained and job duties will be defined by the Fossa Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

Design fossa in wax using prescribed process and taught knowledge of requirements. Create chip sets from models and wax casting. Scan and create CAM programs of chip sets and mesh surfaces. Press and form titanium mesh to patient’s anatomy. Prepare and bond UHMWPE to titanium mesh.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and an artistic eye and ability for 3 dimensional (freeform) sculpting are very desirable. General mechanical aptitude and experience is desirable. High attention to detail Firm understanding of safety Ability to work well in a team
