An LA CPG company is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their team. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing month-end close, reviewing journal entries, financial reporting, assisting with the audit, and maintaining internal controls. What do you need for this Assistant Controller role?
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- MUST have supervisory experience
- Must have industry aligned (CPG, manufacturing, retail) or inventory experience
- CPA a plus not a must have
- Oversee AP, prepaids, fixed assets, taxes, and the general ledger
- Review policies, procedures, and systems and suggest process improvements
- Prepare financial statements
- Support the annual financial statement audit
- Oversee staff

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual‘s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
