Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our commercial real estate investment and operating platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Manage and analyze financial data, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Supervise and direct the work of accounting staff
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6-7+ years of experience in commercial real estate accounting
  • Experience working with real estate software, including Yardi or MRI
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Good GAAP knowledge and a degree in Accounting
