Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN)
NOW OFFERING DAILY PAY
The Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is looking for a talented and hard-working Full Time Wound Care Nurse to join their team The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge in long term wound care in a nursing & rehab facility.
Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weekly
- Responsible for all treatments required by licensed nurse on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times.
- Evaluate high risk patients for pressure reduction interventions methods
- Conduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policy
- Round with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residents
Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be a self starter, hard working and dedicated professional willing to join our team.
- Current and valid RN license in the State of NY
- Active CPR Certificate
- Point Click a Plus
- Wound care certification desired
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in LTC preferred but not required
- Positive attitude and a team player
- The salary for this position is negotiable and will depend on experience and qualifications; a full benefits package will also be included.
