About RiseBoro Community Partnership Inc.

RiseBoro Community Partnership Inc. is a multifaceted organization serving underserved communities in New York City. Their programs span various areas, including housing, senior services, healthcare, youth development, education, empowerment, community development, arts programming, skills training, homelessness prevention, and access to healthy foods.

RiseBoro's Youth Center is a flagship initiative, transforming 30,000 square feet of vacant land into a vibrant space for local youth and their families. This center provides opportunities for skill development, mentorship, and growth, contributing to the overall well-being of the community.

The organization's Senior Services are another crucial aspect of their mission. Designated by the NYC Department for the Aging, their Innovative Senior Center in Brooklyn offers a comprehensive range of programming, including health management, physical exercise, and nutritional programs. These initiatives collaborate with local hospitals and universities to provide holistic care to seniors.

In addition, RiseBoro is involved in affordable housing projects, such as the Hunters Point venture, featuring 1,100 apartments and retail/community space. Eighty percent of the units are permanently affordable or earmarked for seniors, demonstrating the organization's commitment to providing accessible housing options.
