Position Purpose:

The Director of Analytic Services and AI Integration performs advanced analytical and supervisory work as an experienced and motivated business-oriented technologist who possess a balance of business knowledge, effective interpersonal skills, and some technological depth in the following areas: quantitative descriptive analytics, machine learning, and generative artificial intelligence. The individual will lead a team of data analytics experts to collaborate with executives, data owners, and stakeholders to deliver innovative analytic solutions. These solutions will create value, enhance customer experience, and drive competitive advantage by applying statistical and AI methods to analyze data and generate actionable insights for business growth. The Director of Analytics Services and AI Integration will also foster a culture of AI literacy, ethics and innovation within the organization, ensure alignment with the company's mission, values, and goals, and operate under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Build, lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing Analytics Team, setting strategic direction aligned with the company’s vision.
  • Create and implement policies and procedures for data analytics and AI integration.
  • Discuss complex industry-specific business concepts with executives, line managers, and technologists.
  • Support bid and proposal development.
  • Insure analytics program and data management are aligned with cybersecurity initiatives, policies and procedures
  • Oversee R&D initiatives in AI and ML, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Establish partnerships with technology, academic, and research organizations
Minimum Qualifications

Education
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in statistics, epidemiology, economics, mathematics or related discipline
Experience
  • Seven (7) years in positions of increasing responsibility working with large datasets in data analysis and reporting
  • Seven (7) years conducting statistical modeling, programming, analysis, and visualization using SAS, SQL, R, Python, or similar software
  • Three (3) years health care data analysis and technical writing
  • Three (3) years experience in Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence applications, especially with deployments related to data ingestion, analysis, manipulation, and visualization.
  • Three (3) years management
  • Experience in management consulting or related work
  • Experience launching technically complex programs, projects, or related work that include the following: big data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning
Work Environment

Requires working in an office/cubicle environment; sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting and/or reaching. Requires repetitive movement; ability to lift, carry or move up to 25 lbs. when transporting work equipment or materials. May require ability to operate a motor vehicle; the ability to travel by motor vehicle and commercial airline. May require overnight travel.
