Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain inspection reports
  • Assist in development and implementation of quality standards, specifications, and processes
  • Ensure compliance to company standards and specifications
  • Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
  • Perform inspections and testing across all stages of production
  • Prepare and maintain continuous improvement & quality data for review
  • Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
  • Identify areas for quality control, process, or procedure improvement and implement new methods accordingly
  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
  • Conducts root cause / corrective action
  • Coordinates training and process controls with operations
  • Track, support, and communicate resolutions to customer quality issues
  • Investigate and present cost savings opportunities with product and process reviews
  • Assist and support operations team with continuous improvement efforts both existing and new opportunities identified through data analysis and physical time spent in operations.
Qualifications and Skills required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of quality and/or continuous improvement experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information
Compensation & Benefit Information

Hourly Pay Range: $21 - $26 per hour dependent on experience
Bonus/Incentive Pay
Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
