Intake Coordinator (RN) * Collaborates with other medical facilities/agencies, evaluates patients' mental health status, communicates with providers, and facilitates necessary interventions. * Identifies insurance benefits, obtains pre-certification for admission, and completes all admission requirements, including necessary documentation. * Responds to emergencies, provides support and guidance to staff, participates in the performance improvement process, and attends continuing education programs. * Works collaboratively with other departments and may work in other areas of the nursing department when assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: Education * Graduate from an accredited program in nursing. * Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience * A minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health setting preferred. Licenses/Certifications * License to practice as a Registered Nurse * Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
