They are seeking a visionary and experienced Vice President, Paid Social to lead and enhance paid social media strategy and operations, setting new standards in the industry and driving the business forward.


The Role:

The Vice President of paid Social is a pivotal role within the leadership team, overseeing all paid social media strategy and operations across the organization. You will be instrumental in pioneering new products, processes, and systems, ensuring their social media business remains at the forefront of the industry. This role involves establishing best practices, driving strategic initiatives, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Head the Center of Excellence for the Paid Social practice, establishing leadership in the marketplace through industry trends, partner updates, and best-in-class capabilities.
  • Develop and implement leading social media approaches for clients and agency leadership, ensuring strategic alignment and business growth in the digital space.
  • Maintain unparalleled knowledge of the paid social landscape, staying ahead of industry shifts and fostering a community of subject matter experts.
  • Drive the development and adoption of best practices and playbooks around social innovation, content excellence, and reporting and analytics.
  • Create strategic viewpoints on new social media products and industry trends, integrating them into media-driven solutions and business strategies.
  • Spearheaded the integration of new platforms to enhance capabilities and drive business growth.
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior marketing clients, key agency contacts, and internal partners to foster collaboration and drive results.
  • Proactively lead discussions on social innovation, serving as the go-to resource for advanced media and business challenges.
  • Monitor and evaluate social analytics trends, applying insights to refine and enhance business approaches.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 15+ years in social marketing, with a strong background in brand, media, or agency environments. Experience in entertainment, particularly theatrical or TV/streaming, is essential.
  • Proven experience leading large accounts in an agency setting, demonstrating collaboration, data sharing, and a focus on client satisfaction and performance.
  • Deep understanding of paid social platforms including Meta, YouTube, and TikTok, with a strong interest in social technology and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade audiences and deliver cohesive narratives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a track record of leveraging data and automation to solve business challenges.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with leaders, clients, and stakeholders, building lasting relationships and fostering a collaborative environment.
