We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Crewing Coordinator to manage and coordinate the staffing and scheduling of our maritime crew. The Crewing Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that vessels are manned with qualified and competent crew members in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of maritime crewing practices.

*Crewing Coordinator Responsibilities*



* Develop and manage crew schedules, ensuring that vessels are adequately staffed and that crew rotations are executed efficiently.

* Handle crew changes, leave requests, and emergency replacements as needed.

* Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new crew members.

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of crew certifications, licenses, medical examinations, and other relevant documentation. 

* Ensure adherence to international maritime regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

* Act as the primary point of contact between the company and crew members, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.

* Organize travel arrangements for crew members, including transportation, accommodation, and visa requirements. 

* Process crew payroll, maintain accurate records of hours worked, and handle any payroll-related queries. 

* Ensure that crew members receive required training and certification updates as needed.

* Prepare and submit regular reports on crew staffing, scheduling, and other relevant metrics to management. 


*Crewing Coordinator Position Requirements*



* Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

* 5 years of experience in crewing, human resources, or logistics within the maritime industry

* Experience with Jones Act vessels is highly desirable

* Strong understanding of Jones Act regulations, U.S. Coast Guard requirements, and maritime labor practices

* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and finding solutions
