The stunning resort will feature 433 rooms (to include 51 impeccably designed suites and 10 spacious family suites), 65,000 square feet of meeting space (40,000 indoor and 25,000 outdoor), a tranquil spa, two 18-hole golf courses, and 6 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants (rooftop, southern Italian, and poolside), a cocktail bar, marketplace and in-room dining.

What will I be doing?
This administrative position is clerical in nature and support oriented. It is the first step towards a Marketing Management career. The Marketing Coordinator supports the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Assistant Director of Marketing in a variety of ways that are critically important to successfully securing business, as well as meeting the needs of the hotel's clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
MARKETING ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Assistant Director of Marketing through different disciplines to include digital marketing, social media, public relations, group B2B marketing, onsite experiences, reputation management, and brand marketing.
- Manage the day-to-day marketing project intake flow.
- Support digital marketing by pulling performance numbers on a monthly basis.
- Assist in coordinating public relations efforts with PR agency, to include but limited to, coordinating media stays, managing the reservation process, and assisting with onsite experiences.
- Assist in coordinating social media efforts with Social Media agency, to include but not limited to, capturing social content, coordinating influencer stays, and assisting with managing the Spa-specific social channels.
- Assist in coordinating brand marketing efforts with Creative Agency, to include but not limited, to the development of marketing collateral, menus, onsite signage and more.
- Assist in auditing and maintaining online brand presence by learning to operate the Content Management System (CMS).
- Support the brand marketing of ancillary outlets for each property to include restaurants and spas.
- Coordinate photo and video shoots.
- Assist with all office sales efforts, to include responding to general inquiries and client requests.
- Coordinate and assist with customer events, sales appointments, site visit preparation and ability to stand-in on behalf of Sales Managers.
- Provide main telephone coverage for the sales and catering office.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 1-year experience as an administrative assistant in a hospitality-driven team environment.
- Knowledge of Delphi/Meeting Broker/OPERA systems is preferred.
- Sales, Marketing and/or event coordinating experience is a plus.
- Proficient in computer skills (including Windows and Microsoft Suite including Word, Power Point, Excel & Outlook) necessary to complete any correspondence such as proposals, letters, and office communications.
- Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate with clients and all levels of management.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle several projects/deadlines.
- Strong organizational and self-guided multi-tasking skills.
- Eager to learn various disciplines that make up hotel marketing.
- Basic knowledge of traditional social media and reputation management channels.
- Ability to learn how to navigate CMS platforms.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
