Other responsibilities and assignments may apply.Client Account / Project ManagementServe as a secondary client contract for multiple accounts. Experienced Account Executives may serve as the primary client contact on accountsMeaningfully participate in client meetings / calls, including contributing ideas, eliciting appropriate information through smart questions, taking detailed notes and identifying all action items and deadlinesEnsure all deadlines are met by independently creating and prioritizing “to do” lists and by “managing up” to ensure supervisor review materials and provide feedback in a timely mannerParticipate in conceptualizing and managing events for clients (such as press conferences, trade shows, large internal meetings)Undertake and manage large projects, such as annual presentations (clip book/results) for clients. Oversee all details, ensuring a quality work productConsistently and proactively updates and strategic thinking to team members on project, including the status of ongoing and deadline-related assignmentsWork with team to prepare for media training, messaging sessions, and client brainstorms. More experienced Account Executives will participate in media training and messaging sessionsTake ownership of internal / external vendors (oversee media monitoring services, event planners and designers) to ensure projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective mannerShare/elevate important research results/facts from client conversations with the rest of the team, especially Senior Account Executives, Account Supervisors, Senior Account Supervisors and Vice PresidentsProvide proactive ideas related to client tasks and upcoming opportunitiesPrepare invoice justificationUse AI tools for appropriate work for efficiency and quality, following the guidelines of RP’s policiesReview and edit AI prompts created by AAE for quality and accuracyResearch and draft high-quality client materials that ensure appropriate perspective, tone and style based on assessment of client needs. Such documents include:Client memosPress releasesPresentations / speechesBylined articlesMedia alertsFact sheetsExecutive biosAward entriesEmployee newsletter storiesMedia coverage reports and briefing documentsReporter / media briefing documentsActivity reportsResearch analysis / summary reportsExperienced Account Executives are charged with developing more complex strategic communications, such as:Communication plansNew business proposalsMessaging documentsAll materials drafted by professional staff at Reputation Partners must:Be free of spelling / grammar mistakesUse proper word choiceReflect a tone appropriate for the intended audienceBe conciseBe logically / thoughtfully organizedProficient in AI tools for content drafts, social media planning, and media list generationCan vet AI-generated content for tone, accuracy, and fitMedia RelationsResearch and select appropriate reporters and publications / broadcast outlets to target for clients. Develop and maintain up-to-date media listsIdentify and track relevant editorial calendar opportunities and present those opportunities to the account teamApply an understanding of different news cycles and pitch / respond to media inquiries in a timely mannerDevelop creative, timely news pitches that feature our clients and are tailored to specific publications and reportersStrategically circulate releases and pitches and conduct rigorous follow-up discussions with reporters to garner interview opportunities for our clientsRegularly read and study target reporters bylines to understand their style and approachAnalyze reporter coverage / backgrounds and develop comprehensive media briefing documents for clientsCoordinate media interviews (schedule time, location, etc.). Experienced Account Executives will be asked to facilitate media interviews for clientsMonitor media coverage of our clients and clients’ competitors daily. Develop thoughtful client reports that analyze client coverageMaintain an ongoing dialogue with target reporters to ensure we stay on top of opportunities for clientsResearchIndependently conduct comprehensive and thorough research to support clients and new business development efforts, including but not limited to:Collecting and analyzing historical media coverage of clients / prospectsResearching and identifying potential third parties (NGOs, academics, etc.) that may make ideal partners for our clients / prospectsCollecting and summarizing historical financial performance of clients / prospects (stock price, dividend, etc.)Effectively use various research channels to collect needed information:Cision / UniversalFactivaLexis-NexisGoogle / Yahoo FinanceUse AI resources for research purposesDemonstrate tenacity and creativity in tracking down needed / relevant informationPrepare thoughtful analysis of research by distilling information and summarizing key findings for team members and making appropriate recommendationsAnalyze research and news for how it applies to our clients’ business and PR objectivesDrill down and identify key themes from a large volume of informationLocate breaking news immediately on clients, their industries and their competitors using traditional means (Google News Alerts and more direct means (e.g. visiting competitors’ websites regularly and reading industry news daily))QualificationsBachelor’s degree in related field plus 1-3 years’ relevant experience (agency experience preferred)Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Ability to multi-task and handle multiple accounts simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAccuracy and timeliness in the execution of assigned tasksCooperative relationship within the office and with client contactsAbility to schedule work and balance priorities for the efficient flow of workAdditional InformationWe offer a robust benefits package, including Blue Cross/Blue Shield Medical PPO with an HRA; Principal Dental and/or Vision coverage; 401(k); generous PTO; FSA formedical, dependent care and parking/transit; employer-paid Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) for wellnessand employer-provided funds for medical FSA;Employer Assistance Program (EAP);Life and AD&D insurance including voluntary additional coverage available; professional development planning andsupport; and more. #J-18808-Ljbffr
