Spoke's print-on-demand solutions and premium product assortment are standing by to help expand your inventory and fulfill your event and gifting needsThe PositionThe Production Manager is responsible for the organization and activities of the entire facility with a sales revenue of approximately $15 million and approximately 30-50 employees. With oversight of the operation, this leader optimizes labor, material and time, while ensuring the highest levels of product quality and workplace safety.Key ResponsibilitiesOversees the facility with production environment, including approximately 30-50 exempt and non-exempt permanent and temporary employeesMonitor productivity and ensure product qualityEnsure reduction of waste within the processAudits production (randomly inspect pieces) to verify conformance to customer specificationsDirects supervisors and others to ensure that targets are met for quality, productivity, throughput time and on time deliveryEmpowers supervisors and others to identify and eliminate issues in order to reduce costs and throughput times to increase productivity as well as identify and eliminate issues that lead to poor quality and/or scrapRemains current with industry technology, processes, and practicesEnsures that equipment and facility maintenance needs are being addressed in a timely mannerManages team members to ensure on time delivery of product to customers and downstream departments, production to plan, and intra-department material flowOversees and plans departmental staffing levels on a day-to-day basisMentors / develops the department Supervisors and Coordinators Develops the skills and abilities of team members within the department; oversee training efforts; coach and counsels under- performing employeesDirects team member training and developmental opportunities as well as solicits ideas to continuously improve department operationsOversees employee performance reviews and disciplinary actionsManage workplace safety, in particular the authority to stop any activity that is deemed unsafe or that may pose an unacceptable risk of injury to any employeeContinuously monitors the operation to ensure that employees adhere to safe work practices and to ensure that there are no hazards in the workplaceEnsure workplace cleanliness and orderlinessPlans and analyzes business needs, budgeting, and forecasting, performing semi-annual budgeting and forecasting activities as requiredSkills and KnowledgeEmbroidery experienceAbility to work in a highly collaborative style across multiple departmentsContinuous Improvement and Lean ManufacturingData Analysis, statistics, presentationLeadership and Organizational developmentPerformance ManagementMinimum Qualifications10+ years' experience in manufacturing or operations with at least 5 years in a management role; leadership of at least 30 employees and $10-$15M in revenue through the operationProcess Engineering experienceDemonstrated track record of creating value through operations excellenceAbility to work flexible hours as required to support area of responsibilityFluency in Spanish is requiredTogether we inspire prideWe want our team members to be proud of the essential work they do, our commitment to the sustainability, and the overall customer experience.We are a culture that will invest heavily in our people, our company and in state-of-the-art technology to be at the forefront of innovation.PCNA is an equal opportunity employer.
