Job Summary
The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing restaurant operations in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will have experience in staff management, customer service, and financial management.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory, and cash handling.
- Develop and implement sales growth initiatives to drive profitable sales growth.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Analyze operational and financial performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with employees, guests, and other stakeholders to ensure positive guest experiences and resolve issues promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food service industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
