We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a positive patient experience.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Update and maintain patient records using eClinicalWorks or similar EMR software
- Assist with urgent care coordination and patient flow management
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical administrative support
- Experience with phone systems and office administrative tasks
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical records systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
